 Main screen

4 ways to run the projector:
  1. double-click the projector's icon on Windows desktop
  2. or select "AML Projector" in "Start / Programs / Aliu's Magic Lantern" menu
  3. or drag a slide tray icon and drop it over the projector's icon
  4. or click the toolbar's "Run slide show" button in the workbench program.

Many options are available in the Preferences dialog box, "Projector" tab and "Text & Date" tab. Use them to customize the projector's behaviour: screen resolution, graphic mode, picture resizing, autostart, etc.

Displaying / hiding the remote control

When the projector has been started by double-clicking its icon or from the "Start" menu, the remote control is displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. The projector is in stand-by mode, waiting for you to open a slide tray file with the "Open slide tray" button .

When the projector is launched from the workbench program, the remote control is hidden. To display it, move the mouse pointer to the lower right corner of the screen, or click anywhere in the screen. To hide it again, move the mouse pointer towards the upper left corner of the screen.

Displaying / hiding the mouse pointer
Move the mouse pointer into the upper left corner of the screen to hide it.
Move it elsewhere to make it visible again.
