![]() |
This window displays the slide show's contents as a list
of "frames".
Just after opening a slide tray file, the first frames are shown. Use the vertical scroll bar to browse the show, or the Up/Down arrows and PgUp/PgDwn keys. Each frame can be easily modified. Use the "cut", "insert frame" and "paste" commands to change the frames sorting order. Most edit commands are applied to the current frame. This frame is outlined with brown pads surrounding the frame number (here, it is frame #1) There is always an empty frame at the end of the slide tray (not visible here), which is used to append more pictures. Pictures can also be inserted in the middle of the show with the "insert frame" command. |
With a 800x600 resolution screen, you can see up to 5 frames at the same
time.
Set the slide tray window's height in the
"Preferences" dialog box.
You can open only one slide tray window at any given time.

of the text when overlaying an image may be moved up or down by the insertion
of "Returns" before or after the text to have it appear where you wish.
| Filling the slide tray |
There are several ways to fill the slide tray:
Dragging a picture file from the preview window and dropping it into the slide tray will insert this picture into a new frame, or will overwrite the target frame's picture, depending on settings "Dropping slide action from slide tray" in the Preferences dialog box, "Workbench" tab.
Dragging a sound file from the preview window and dropping it into the slide tray will assign this sound to the frame.
Dragging a picture from one frame to another will swap the pictures or will overwrite the target frame's picture, depending on settings "Dropping slide action from preview" in the Preferences dialog box, "Workbench" tab.
You can also merge another slide tray by doing File / Insert slide tray.
